The Co-operative generally extends small loans. Unlike other Banks, it recovers them in installments with interest. It also distributes consumer loans for furniture, fixture, vehicles etc. for a term of 5 years. These are repayable within 12 months in the form of daily installments with interest. If a small trader takes Bank’s loan of Tk.5,000.00 and invest it in his business, he will be required to pay only Tk. 50.00 out of the profit of his sale proceeds. This payment will be collected by the Bank’s employees directly from his trading place/door step. In this process, the entire loan is repaid in 125 days through 109 installments. The advantage of this is that the entire loan is not required to be paid at a time. As a process, the loanee does not face difficulty and loan becomes his own investment. Good number of members of small traders is being benefited through this loan process

     Many a skilled worker, small traders are not able to procure loans from scheduled bank for paucity of securities. Considering their locus standi and reputation, they are extended loans without securities to help them to be self sufficient. Loaners are not required to waste extra time for having loans. They are also not required to come to office to repay loans. Rather the employees of the bank collect loans/installments from their door step on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
